UNDSS enables the planning and safe conduct of mandates, missions, activities, and programmes of the United Nations system. UNDSS is present in over 125 countries. Security is crucial to all UN programmes, so UNDSS works wherever the UN has a footprint.

Together with UNDP, the United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) Indonesia is seeking for Online Volunteers to support in visual storytelling and content creation. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about creative writing, offering hands-on experience while contributing to UNDSS’ mission to enable the planning and the safe conduct of mandates, missions, activities, and programmes of the United Nations system.

We are looking for skilled and motivated Online Volunteers to support UNDSS’ creative communication efforts. Online Volunteers will work on visual and written content that enhances UNDSS’ outreach, awareness campaigns, and information dissemination. The selected Online Volunteers will contribute their expertise in creative writing to develop engaging materials for various platforms.

Specifically, Online Volunteers will support in: • Developing engaging written content for UNDSS communication materials. • Assisting in crafting articles, captions, and advocacy messages. • Ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with UNDSS’ policy.
