Overview

Lead the creative development and production of a promotional video for the Tehran Convention.

You have:

  • Experience in video editing for digital or social media platforms.
  • Proficiency in professional editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Ability to create visually engaging motion graphics and clear, synchronized subtitles.
  • Experience in developing creative concepts from raw data or archival materials.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain brand consistency.
  • Experience with 2D animation or advanced motion graphics (After Effects).
  • Familiarity with environmental or intergovernmental (UN) communications.
  • Good written communication skills in both English and Russian.

The Online Volunteer will be asked to: ● Develop the script and creative concept: Draft a narrative that highlights the Convention's milestones and future goals. ● Video Editing & Production: Edit existing archive footage, photos, and branding materials provided by the Secretariat. ● Content Enrichment: Identify and suggest additional visual elements or motion graphics to enhance the storytelling. ● Post-Production: Add professional transitions, background music, and simple motion graphics/animations. (narrative in video approx. 3–5 minutes) ● Multilingual Integration: Create and hard-code subtitles in both English and Russian to ensure regional accessibility. ● Format Adaptation: Produce final video files optimized for various platforms (e.g., horizontal for the official website/YouTube and vertical snippets for social media).

The Tehran Convention Secretariat is seeking an Online Volunteer to lead the creative development and production of a promotional video celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Convention. The selected online volunteer will work remotely under the supervision of the Tehran Convention Officer to produce a compelling narrative (approx. 3–5 minutes) along with shorter "teaser" clips for social media.

The Online Volunteer should have: ● Experience in video editing for digital or social media platforms. ● Proficiency in professional editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. ● Ability to create visually engaging motion graphics and clear, synchronized subtitles. ● Experience in developing creative concepts from raw data or archival materials. ● Attention to detail and the ability to maintain brand consistency.
