You have:
- Knowledge of the UN and business and human rights area
- Fluency in Spanish
- Experience working with or on Latin America region

The assignment will multifold , aiming at supporting the elaboration and implementation of public policies on business and human rights in the Latin America region 1. Conduct research regarding the compliance of the policy, normative and institutitional frameworks with human rights standards in Ecuador 2.Organize events and meetings in the context of the national actions plan on business and human rights 3.Support the creation of a digital platform that helps incclusive participation in the policy making process and ensures transparency.
The support from the Volunteer will focus on: 1. Undertake research on the compliance of national policy and normative frameworks of Latin American countries with international human rights standards including the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human rights 2. Support the organization of different type of activities to support the development of national action plans on business and human rights and to increase key stakeholder knowledge on human rights and business.
