The Bali Process on People Smuggling, Trafficking in Persons and Related Transnational Crime is a regional forum that supports collaboration, dialogue and policy development relating to irregular migration in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond – bringing together 45 Member States and four Member Organisations – as well as 18 Observer States and nine Observer Organisations.

The Regional Support Office of the Bali Process (RSO) was established in 2012 to provide technical support to Bali Process Members and to strengthen cooperation on refugee protection and international migration, including human trafficking, people smuggling and transnational crime.

The RSO Alumni Network is a platform for government officials, law enforcement officers, border and immigration officials, maritime officers, and other practitioners who have participated in RSO-led training and capacity-building activities. Through this platform, members can engage in professional networking, share knowledge, and exchange resources aimed at addressing these critical issues.

By supporting this assignment, the Online Volunteer will have the chance to gain insights into the role of graphic design in intergovernmental and cooperation contexts and contribute to addressing irregular migration and trafficking in persons through their creative talents.

The RSO is seeking one Online Volunteer to work closely with our Communications and Engagement team, under the guidance of the Programme Officer in Communications and Engagement, to assist us with two graphic design projects. Specifically, the Online Volunteer will: - Create a fresh logo for the RSO Alumni Network. - Rebuild the existing RSO logo, maintaining consistency with the current design.

For both logos, we expect: - Primary and secondary logo variations. - Adaptations suitable for light and dark backgrounds. - High-resolution files in multiple formats to accommodate various applications.

Both logos will be utilized across the RSO’s social media platforms, website, presentations, and merchandise, enhancing our visibility, fostering its expansion, and improving member engagement.

The designs should adhere to the RSO's brand guidelines, which will be provided to the Online Volunteer beforehand. Additionally, a design brief will be shared in advance to guide the Volunteer's efforts.

Online Volunteer will be properly acknowledged on his/her contribution in developing the logo.

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and relevant design software. Demonstrated creativity in visual concept development. Background in graphic design or related fields is advantageous.
