You have:

  • Education in environmental sciences, communications, education, or related field is considered an asset.
  • Fluency in Ukrainian/Russian and working level of English is needed.
  • Candidates with experience in online course development will be preferred.
  • Familiarity with environmental issues will be considered a strong advantage.

We are looking for an Online Volunteer to support us with the development of online courses on environmental journalism and environmental policy. Tasks will include: assistance with the planning, development, and revision of the curriculum; collecting relevant materials produced by the project; consult with key collaborators for the curriculum development purposes; assist in communication with partners and trainers; document agreements through minutes of the meetings; assist in the preparation of instructional material and developing outlines with the necessary details to direct production; support the development of learning objectives and goals, monitor production of the course. The Online Volunteer is expected to work under the overall supervision of the project manager and in close collaboration with the communications expert. By providing this support, the volunteer will accelerate the development impact and contribute to the dissemination of knowledge on environmental issues.

    The project “Support to the Parliament of Ukraine in Sustainable Energy and Environment Area” aims to support the Members of Parliament and the relevant parliamentary committees with quality analytical, communications and advocacy support on a wide range of issues in the sustainable energy and environment (SEE) area. In addition, the project aims at increasing the visibility of environmental issues through communications and advocacy activities. The Online Volunteer's support will help to accelerate the development impact of the project and the visibility of environmental issues. The Online Volunteer will be fully credited for their collaboration and a certificate of satisfaction will be issued at the end of the collaboration.

  • 6-10 hours per week / 8 weeks

    Education in environmental sciences, communications, education, or related field is considered an asset. Fluency in Ukrainian/Russian and working level of English is needed. Candidates with experience in online course development will be preferred. Familiarity with environmental issues will be considered a strong advantage. Selected volunteer will be offered an orientation to help understand expectations better. We will use skype or zoom to facilitate communication.
