Support vulnerable children through program implementation and monitoring

You have:

• Graduate of any four-year course (a degree in Social Science or any related field is preferred).
• Experienced in working with local government units, line agencies, churches, and other organizations.
• Experienced in facilitating children’s activities.
• Familiar with the basic requirements and standards of child sponsorship including photography and videography.
• Experienced in program/project monitoring and evaluation.
• Excellent communications, networking, alliance building, and facilitation skills.
• Understands child rights and responsibilities including the basic requirements for Child Friendly Local Government.
• Willing to live in the barangay or primary focused area.
• Can operate MS office software and has the capacity to use technology in program management.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically.
• Can speak English, Bisaya-Cebuano and/or Maranao.

Key Responsibilities:

The Support Staff represents WVDF in the Municipality of Baloi and within a specific geographical area assigned to her or him. He/she works for the organization particularly in Area Program Lanao Del Norte to keep and support the frontline team who are primarily and directly involve in the organization.

He/she supports quality, timely and effective implementation, integration, contextualization, monitoring and reporting of WVDF's Technical Programs namely CESP and Education TP in partnership with the local and partner implementers such as the barangay local government units and line agencies, churches, schools, private agencies and all other relevant organizations.

Implements and monitors sponsorship essentials

• Ensures monitoring of child presence and data quality information of registered child - Ensures submission of quality correspondences (SOI) within turn-a-round time (IL, EL, SL, TYL, Query, Holds, GN).
• Ensures 100% completion of FY25 APR (CEW writing, CUP/CUV taking etc.) in his/her assigned areas and submits on or before the due date.
• Collaborates with the Child Data Analyst to ensure consistency, correctness, and up-to-date RC records.

Provide assessment and recommendation to the Program Officer in addressing child well-being issues especially those directly affecting RC

• Conduct child/home visitation of RC/RF especially to those children with child well-being issues.
• Prepare child case management report for CWB intervention (support/dropping action) with recommending approval of PO and approval of Program Manager.

Monitors RC sighted/participation/support as well as family support/participation and ensured entry of correct data/information gathered in the Horizon mobile application.

• Report output progress to the Program Officer/Direct Supervisor every month

Provide support to Program Officer/s in implementing EDUC Technical Program

• Coordinates with Program Officer and Program Manager in initiating or working with local partners.
• Report output progress to the Program Officer/Direct Supervisor monthly.

Complies with WVDF policies and standards i.e. finance, P&C, etc.
