DRC is one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs, is currently looking for a highly Support Services Managerto provide coordinated and strategic leadership for all support functions within Triplotiana and ensuring the smooth running of all support functions to meet the programme needs in line with the DRC Operations Handbook.

About the job:

DRC Libya – Area office is excited to recruit a Support Services Manager. The role has an area focus and ensures compliance to DRC procedures and guidelines within the area level. The role contributes to the development of area strategies, which are translated into action plans and day-to-day tasks. The role provides support and/or technical guidance to base operations.

Your main duties and responsibilities will be:

About you

To be successful in this role, we expect you to

  • have an expertise in leadership and cooridnation skills to lead the support services units.
  • good understanding of DRC Operations Handbook.
  • Knowledge of budget cycle and monitoring processes.
  • Knowledge of code of conduct principles and the HR systems for performance management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • understanding of humanitarian principles.

Required

  • University degree in related subject.
  • At least 5 years' working in INGO Sector within Support Services scope.
  • Result oriented, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good Reporting skills, and fluency in Arabic and English are mandatory.

We offer

Contract length: 3 Months contract with possibility of extension based on performance and fund availablity.

Band: F

Designation of Duty Station: Tripoli

Start date: it is likely to start on 07. September. 2023.
