Assist with water quality research by reviewing and editing papers.

You have:

  • PhD in Water Chemistry or Environmental Engineering is mandatory.
  • Experience in research in Water Quality Index, Hygiene, and Sanitation is essential.
  • Knowledge of GIS and ability to provide GIS mapping is very important.
  • Good communication and presentation skills are important.
  • Availability to work 6-10 hours per week for 4 weeks is essential.

Morobe Development Foundation is looking for two Online Volunteers with expertise in research who have knowledge in water quality index research method and skills and who can review and edit research papers. The task will be done through online collaboration daily for a period of four weeks. The Online Volunteers will be guided and briefed by the contact person for Morobe Development Foundation Inc. during the collaboration. The online volunteer should have knowledge chemistry, GIS and can use statistical analysis and other methods used in water quality researching. Online Volunteers with extensive knowledge in GIS Mapping and technical writing are highly regarded in this project.

    Morobe Development Foundation Inc. is carrying out research in the areas of water quality control, hygiene, and sanitation and urgently need support of two qualified Online Volunteers who have knowledge and experience in the areas of water quality management, sanitation, and hygiene. The Online Volunteers will only help in reviewing a water quality paper. He or she will be able to provide expert advice using the results provided using his/her experience and knowledge to derive the conclusion expected. The paper once published will be found useful by water consumers in the study area including government officials, decision makers as well as water regulating bodies.

    The volunteer we are looking for must have experience in research in the areas of Water Quality Index, Hygiene, and Sanitation. The volunteer must have good communication and presentation skills. He or she must have a PHD in Water Chemistry or Environmental Engineering.
