Learning for Nature is the premier e-learning platform by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). It offers an extensive portfolio of e-learning offerings to promote best practices in conservation and sustainable development and ​​develop the capacity of biodiversity policymakers, practitioners, and local and Indigenous communities.

The Ecosystem Restoration MOOC will be offered by the The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) in English, French, and Spanish. This eight-week course compiles research from leading institutions engaged in ecosystem restoration and experts in the field to raise awareness and build ecosystem restoration capacity. The course is geared to government representatives interested in creating a blueprint for ecosystem restoration at the national or subnational level, but is open to everyone.

UNDP is looking for two online volunteers to provide support in researching outreach channels for the upcoming UNDP Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) on Ecosystem Restoration in English, French and Spanish. The channels will be used during the course promotional campaign between June to September 2022.

The online volunteer will be asked to conduct independent research on various public and private organizations, networks, and programmes that are involved in work relevant to Ecosystem Restoration and compile their research in a shared database.

Application is open for all nationalities. Candidates should have experience in communications and must be fluent in English, with working knowledge of French and/ or Spanish.
