The Development, Economic, and Social Issues Branch (DESIB) of OHCHR is looking for Online Volunteers to participate in two research projects related to the Road and Safety initiative and analysis of the lack of users of Eco-loans or Eco-Subsidies. Volunteers with backgrounds in various fields such as political science, environmental studies, international development studies, anthropology, and psychology are welcome to contribute.

The Online Volunteer/s will have the opportunity to build connections with the DESIB Section at the OHCHR, work with Consultants, and learn about the ways in which research on human rights in these different fields of topics can support the protection of human rights through the work of the UN OHCHR.

We are looking for four Online Volunteers who have experience in research with excellent writing skills. The task will include the following responsibilities: - Discuss and determine parameters for the research - Identify and gather sources - Conduct research - Develop short report on findings

The average estimated workload is expected to include reviewing documents (these can include articles, studies etc.) over the course of the assignment duration.

Candidates should have strong research and analytical skills. A degree in a related field is considered an asset.
