You have:

  • 3 years of experience in process design in a profit/nonprofit environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Biological or Chemical or Environmental Engineering is preferred.
  • Knowledge/Experience in water and wastewater treatment design.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Must be willing to attend virtual meetings in EST Timezone and be responsive to emails within 36 hours.

We seek support for our organization’s Process Design Projects. The overall objective is to assist on process design and related analysis of AOT technology for water and wastewater treatment design including biological treatment by assisting in the research and creation of software codes. The Online Volunteer will attend meetings with other volunteers on the team in the EST time zone using Google. Volunteers mostly communicate through emails and are expected to respond to emails.

    Save the Water™ is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to conduct scientific water research to identify and remove harmful contaminants in water and to raise public awareness about water contamination and its health impacts. Our vision is "Contamination free, healthy water for all". We seek an experienced Online Volunteer to support the process design effort of the Research & Engineering team by assisting in the research and creation of software codes for the equipment use to study water & wastewater treatment.

  • Volunteers: 1 needed

  • 6-10 hours per week / 24 weeks

    Must be willing to attend virtual meetings in EST Timezone and be responsive to emails within 36 hours. 3 years of experience in process design in a profit/nonprofit environment. Bachelor’s degree in Biological or Chemical or Environmental Engineering is preferred. Requires Knowledge/Experience in water and wastewater treatment design. Good analytical skills.
