We are looking for one online volunteer to support ICAO MID Office communications team in the social media management. Tasks are mainly related to updating social media accounts on a daily basis on Twitter/ Instagram/Facebook to reflect the status of current projects, ongoing activities and upcoming events, with the highlight on the ICAO Strategic Objectives which are (Safety, Security and facilitation, capacity and efficiency, economic development and environmental protection).

Aviation related project and its objective is to promote ICAO and States success stories and achievements. As well as support public and industry awareness of ICAO’s strategic objectives and its contribution to the SDGs, for example, security and facilitation's contribution to sustainable development goal 17: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.

6-10 hours per week / 24 weeks
Candidate should have previous experience with social media management, excellent communication and strong writing skills, savvy with social media applications and content management systems. A degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field is considered an asset.
