We seek support for our organization’s fundraising campaign for Tailoring Education Center Tailoring project will enhance vocational skills & knowledge amongst women & adolescent girls, who are survivors of sexual violence. Additional, it will improve their entrepreneurship & employment skills & empower them taking decision about themselves & make them self-reliant. To this end, we are looking for two experienced volunteers who will become part of our fundraising team as online volunteers and help us with outreach and other fundraising related tasks by developing fundraising strategies, sharing innovative fundraising ideas, researching potential donor organizations and funding opportunities, helping draft letters and correspondence, writing project proposal, providing advice on how to approach donors. Online Volunteers will not be asked to solicit donations/fund from third parties or to contact any donors/third parties.

    The overall objective is to help us ensure our organization’s finances are sustainable and necessary funds are at our disposal to support our projects. As these women are dependant, they are discarded by other people including family members. They need special care from us. A special attention is needed to mainstream these women in the developmental process. They cannot go and search for other jobs in the agricultural fields. They cannot find alternatives for their livelihood. As they are not equipped with skills, they cannot find self employment opportunities. They should be helped to generate income through skill development trainings. It will elevate them economically and they will get a status in the society. The project will aim at providing skill development trainings and creation of sustainable livelihoods/ income generation activities.

  • Volunteers: 2 needed

  • 6-10 hours per week / 12 weeks

    Candidates should have previous experience in prospect, development, or market research, preferably in non-profit sector, superior analytical skills, the ability to interpret complex financial disclosure documents for wealth assessment, an understanding of the donor base in economic empowerment and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
