- Available to work 11-20 hours per week for 8 weeks.

IPC-IG is looking for online volunteers to search for official documents and/or other reliable sources concerning social protection responses – social assistance, social insurance and labor market – to the COVID-19’s crisis in South Asia – Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Selected candidates must be available to start working immediatly.

Knowledge management, archiving and documentation
This research will feed a mapping of social protection responses to the COVID-19’s crisis in South Asia. Online volunteers must have independent access to a laptop and internet. They will work remotely at a time and location of their convenience, subject to the deadlines set, and will receive a certificate of appreciation for their contributions. The IPC-IG is a joint project of the United Nations Development Programme and the Brazilian Government to facilitate South-South Cooperation on key development issues. The IPC-IG’s mandate is to promote the production and dissemination of studies and policy recommendations, the exchange of best practices in development initiatives and the expansion of South-South cooperation.

All candidates must be fluent in English. Fluency in one or more of the South Asian countries' official languages is considered an advantage. Please mark clearly which languages you are fluent in. Background on political science, development studies or other correlated area is highly desirable.
