The United Nations in Nigeria is undertaking a Common Country Analysis (CCA), which serves as the evidence base for identifying key development challenges, opportunities, and priorities to inform UN programming and support to national development efforts. As part of this process, the UN is conducting stakeholder data validation exercises with representatives from government, civil society, the private sector, youth, women, and other groups to ensure that the findings accurately reflect realities on the ground.

Online Volunteers will support these sessions by taking detailed notes during discussions, capturing key insights, recommendations, and stakeholder perspectives. Their contributions will help ensure that the outcomes of the validation exercises are accurately documented and incorporated into the final analysis, thereby strengthening the quality and inclusiveness of the CCA. This, in turn, will support evidence-based decision-making and contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by helping the UN and its partners design more effective and responsive development interventions.

We are looking for six online volunteers to support us in writing one report each. The purpose of this review is to document discussions during the stakeholder consultation exercise. The online volunteer is expected to: - Write the required material. - Follow the organization's guidelines and directives. - Receive comments and feedback.

Candidates should have a strong command of English and proficiency in English and its subtleties. Strong writing skills and knowledge of grammatical rules are required. Familiarity with technical terms related to Nigeria’s socioeconomic issues will be considered an asset.
