UNV will advertise 15 national UNV posts in the Democratic Republic of Congo. For this recruitment, female candidates are strongly encouraged. However, female candidates are not as numerous as male candidates. Therefore, the aim of this task is to help attract and identify top female talents for UNV/MONUSCO national posts. The online volunteer will play a critical role in ensuring that we have qualified female volunteers to fill various assignments in the Democratic Republic of Congo, supporting the UNV program's mission of promoting peace, development, and humanitarian action.
We are seeking the help of 3 online volunteers who will, under the guidance of the Public Information Officer of UNV/MONUSCO, perform the following task: • Disseminate job openings on various social media platforms to attract qualified female candidates in English and French • Identify and refer potential female candidates through various channels, including word of mouth • Develop weekly brief situation report on the talents sourcing progress
Candidates should have professional experience in talent acquisition, with previous experience in using social media and other digital platforms for recruitment, and must have in-depth knowledge of social media management, as well as good verbal and written communication skills. A Degree in Human Resource or Communication will be an asset.
