Support in Design and Layout of the UN Mongolia Communications Strategy

The RCO's Communications and Advocacy Officer chairs the UN Communications Group (UNCG). The UNCG developed the UN Mongolia Communications Strategy that will guide the UN Mongolia communications on development priorities in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework.

To that end, we are seeking the support of an Online Volunteer who under the guidance of the UN RCO Communications Officer and in close collaboration with the communications team, to help us in producing 1 of the graphic designs for the UN Mongolia Communications Strategy.

In particular, the Online Volunteer is asked to: - Propose a general outline and plan for the graphic work to UN RCO Communications Officer - Consult and received guidance on target audience, design style, branding guidelines, visual assets, etc.; - Create a draft design based on requirements and discuss it with UN RCO Communications Officer; - Develop the design according to the agreed requirements.

The design/layout should follow our corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the Online Volunteers in advance.

The Online Volunteer will have the opportunity to build connections with the UN RCO at the UN Mongolia and learn about the ways in which graphic design can support designing of the Communications Strategy

• Candidates should have professional experience in graphic design with previous experience in designing document layouts, and must have in-depth knowledge of graphic design applications, as well as good verbal and written communication skills.
• A degree in graphic design or related field is considered an asset.
