Support Graphic Design for the Online Course on Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration

We are looking for a creative Online Volunteer to support the production of an online course. The Online Volunteer should create 6 to 8 infographics and images and will work together with our instructional designer in order to coordinate and align expectations. Branding guidelines and support will be provided to the Online Volunteer throughout the collaboration.

The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) is a specialised training agency of the United Nations with a mandate to develop individual and institutional capacities for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development through outcome-based learning and training initiatives. This online course introduces the African Union Operational Guidance Notes on DDR (Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration) and aims at building and maintaining the capacity of national, regional and international stakeholders to implement emerging as well as classic diversity-responsive Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration processes and programmes in line with the AU DDR Operational Guidance Notes (OGNs). In doing this, it contributes directly to supporting the achievement of the Aspiration 4 of the Agenda 2063 “A peaceful and secure Africa”.
Volunteers: 1 needed
6-10 hours per week / 2 weeks
The volunteer should be experienced in creating infographics and images, and should have access to the relevant software needed to create these. Ideally, the volunteer also has experience with using Articulate Storyline. Please indicate on the application which software skills you have.
