Support developing a white paper on Social Impact Bonds for UNFPA Turkiye.
You have:
- Be enrolled in a first university degree programme (such as bachelor’s degree or equivalent) and have completed one full academic year.
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme (such as master’s programme or higher).
- Have recently graduated with a university degree as defined above and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation.
- Expressed interest in the field of finance and partnerships building.
- Demonstrable experience in making proposals and pitches to corporate clients.

Under the direct supervision of the Resource Mobilization and Partnerships Analyst, working closely with the Representative, Online Volunteer will support reviewing the necessary documentation in online public sources to develop a white paper for UNFPA Turkiye on possible use of Social impact Bonds.
The knowledge product for internal and external use related to social impact bond will include the following:
● Research relevant to Turkiye context on the use of social impact bonds in areas of UNFPA mandate including a list of key potential partners from Türkiye and potential investors, ● White paper for UNFPA Turkiye on possible use of Social impact Bonds, ● A concept note and suggested action plan for advancing on securing partnerships for a social impact bond in Türkiye.
Weekly discussions with RM and Partnership Analyst and delivery every Friday of the expected product via email. Additional communication is possible throughout the week as needed to advance the work.
Suggested Timeline is as follows: Week 1: Submission of the outline of the White paper Week 2: Submission of the draft of the White paper Week 3: Submission of the revised draft incorporating UNFPA comments Week 4: Finalization of the implementation plan and next steps and finalization of the Annex
