At the Mission Support Division, we plan to launch a newsletter to present the range of services that we offer and give greater visibility to the activities that we carry out for the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA), United Nations Agencies Funds and Programmes (UNAFPs) and Central African partners as part of the implementation of the Mission mandate.

Support to the creation of Newsletter for the Mission Support Division (MSD) of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic. The first online Volunteer will make the graphic designing of the Newsletter and the second will do the reading and proofreading.

Task description  We are seeking two (2) Online Volunteers (OV) to support MSD (Mission Support Division) in:

  • OV1: conceiving, designing, and developing a Newsletter through tools like Canva or similar programs.

  • OV2: reading and proofreading of the Newsletter.

•Deliverable: Newsletter to highlight MSD activities and achievements. •Audience: MINUSCA internal clients, UNAFPs and national partners including the Government •Languages: French and English •Frequency: 3 issuances for the first set of Newsletters. •Main method of distribution: email and printed document, if necessary. •Through this task, the Online Volunteer will contribute towards achieving SDG 16, which is reflected in the MINUSCA mandate: Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions at all levels. Expected outcomes are as follows: • Conception, design, and development of the template of the newsletter (4 pages of A4 format each). • Design and development of 3 issuances of the newsletter, including editing based on raw content (text and illustrations) provided by MSD

• First assignment: Design of the template (OV1). • 3 assignments: Production of 3 Newsletters (OV2).

Candidates should have professional experience in communications including graphic design and content production with previous experience in designing document layouts and developing corporate newsletters. They must have in-depth knowledge of graphic design applications, as well as excellent written communication skills
