You have:
- Extensive experience in instructional design and instructional technology.
- Familiarity with nonprofit organization work.
- Full knowledge of training topics related to human rights, governance, peace-building, conflict management, and culture heritage protection.
- Ability to write instructional text and scripts for audio and video.
- Basic knowledge of WordPress package.
- Excellent English writing communication skills.

BRD is looking for 2 experienced volunteers who can support BRD in design and development of online courses, in the area of human rights, governance, peace-building, conflict management, culture heritage protection and advocacy. As online courses instructional designer/developer the volunteers will support BRD for, applying tested instructional design theories, practice and methods, design and create engaging learning activities and compelling course content. Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc), support the creation of assessments, assignments, and activities. The volunteer will support BRD development of 5 to 8 online course which to be piloted through BRD newly established online portal. BRD will provide necessary material and information and communicate with volunteer through email and online communication tools . The volunteer be part of BRD online training team and will work closely with online training project coordinator.

BRD is an Afghan charity organization working in the area of human rights, community development, social protection, environmental, climate change, protection of culture heritage and promoting good governance and accountability through civil society empowerment in Afghanistan. Under its digital transformation project BRD is working to improve its marketing and PR through social media and website to raise awareness. As video has become the best way for communicating organization messages on online platforms, which will play an important role in success of our outreach and advocacy and fundraising work.
Volunteers: 2 needed
1-5 hours per week / 12 weeks
The volunteer should be familiar with nonprofit organisation work. Full knowledge on the indicated training topics. Should extensive experience, in instructional design and with instructional technology, knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models, course development software and learning management system. Ability to write instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts. Basic knowledge of word press package and excellent English writing communication skills.
