BRD is looking for an experienced Online Volunteer who can support BRD in configuration of BRD Education Websites built in WordPress theme to be hosted in MS Azure Virtual Machine, with all the key functions, relevant tools, plugins and content. The Online Volunteer will be responsible; installation of the BRD education word press theme in our existing hosting portal in MS Azure Linux. Configuration of all components and tools; such as Learning Management System (LMS) and other plugins, tools, included in the word press them package. Adding relevant contents, and development of simple instruction for BRD staff, to enable for maintaining the page after completion of the project.

BRD is a non-profit charity organization working in the area of human rights, social protection, environment, protection of culture heritage, promotion of good governance and accountability and civil society empowerment in Afghanistan. Due to ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, BRD is going through digital transformation to enable for continuation its services, BRD has been currently working to develop an online training portal to provide continues free learning opportunities to our target group, during and after COVID 19 pandemic.

Candidates should have knowledge about non-profit organization’s work, specialized expertise in development of education portals/website in word press theme, configuration of LMS and other relevant tools, expertise in working with word press themes, MS Azure hosting, DNS and Domains. Team player to guide other team members when necessary in digital transformation. English language proficiency and have the available time to work effectively toward the deadline.
