Supply and Logistics Monitoring Associate reports to the Senior Logistics and Supply Officer.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and updates the supplier database with full information, in accordance with supply guidelines and provide reports on key supply and logistics monitoring indicators; support the consolidation of supplier performance evaluation, including data collection and analysis as requested. - Cooperates with procurement colleagues in medicine and food commodities to monitor and communicate upcoming deliveries to Field Offices (FOs). Supports in the development of a supply and logistics monitoring dashboard and following up with different stakeholders to provide technical support. - Provides thorough monthly monitoring and analysis on fuel, fleet and inventory supplies expired and dormant inventory, customs clearance, goods in transit, supplies delivery. Develops monthly and ad hoc reports on the status of deliveries of food and medicine supplies; compiles statistical information on supply chain related matters that will assist in decision-making. - Maintains effective working relations and contact with the Supply and Logistics Heads in the FOs, fleet managers, Heads of Procurement, and Port operations and ensures good collaboration and communication. - Participates in regular warehouse physical inventory count and supports the head of the unit in coordination with field offices. Follows up on all stock take coordination related tasks with supervisor and FOs. - Engages in training and capacity-building; Supports the development of training materials, organizes webinars and supports all capacity building activities organized by the unit. - Supports in monitoring audit recommendations related to inventory management, fleet and fuel monitoring activities and provide regular update. - Assists with technical and administrative tasks in support of the supply and logistics unit as required. - Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Education

Work Experience

At least two years of responsible and relevant experience in procurement and logistics is required. Familiarity with procurement computer applications is desirable. Good experience and knowledge in shipping terminology is desirable. Good working knowledge or training courses in business management or accounting is desirable. A first university degree from an accredited educational institution in supply and logistics management, procurement, business administration, public administration, or a related field is required.
