  • Relevant university degree (e.g. commercial or trade-related disciplines, international development, economics) or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience in preparing procurement contracts in line with organizational and donor requirements.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Stable, moral and robust character and a good team player.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven commitment to accountability practices.
  • High personal and professional integrity.
  • Excellent skill in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in negotiating access for humanitarian or other agencies.
  • English language proficiency at B1–B2 level.

Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a leading protection agency with a mandate to protect, advocate and promote durable solutions for displacement affected populations.

DRC has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, currently DRC employs over 800 staff in Ukraine and implements emergency response in the Protection, Livelihoods, Shelter/NFIs and Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding (humanitarian mine action) sectors, using direct interventions, support to duty bearers and civil society organizations (CSOs), and partnerships with CSOs. DRC will continue and adapt its durable solutions portfolio to the evolving context.

DRC is currently looking for a Supply Chain Officer to join our Area-Based Allocation (ABA) team in Mykolaiv to implement project in Khersonska oblast.

About the job

The Area-Based Allocation (ABA) Consortium supports local organizations in Ukraine by providing quality funding, due diligence and tailored capacity support. Under the management Support Services Manager, Supply Chain Officer, is responsible for strengthening partners’ capacity in supply chain-related processes. This role supports accurate reporting, risk management, and compliance for partner projects, while closely coordinating with finance teams to support the daily operations of the ABA Consortium.

Your main duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Strengthen partners’ capacity in supply chain, procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Train and mentor partners on compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
  • Oversee partners’ implementation of supply chain requirements under sub-grant agreements.
  • Monitor partner performance, identify capacity gaps, and support improvement actions.
  • Support accurate reporting, documentation, and risk management for partner projects.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Program, and Safety teams to ensure compliant daily operations.
  • Support other consortium or DRC activities as required and agree with the line manager.

About you

To be successful in this role we expect you to have at least 2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, partnership supporting or a related field within humanitarian or development organizations. Moreover, we also expect the following:

We offer

  • Contract length: 12 months renewable depending on performance and funding after successful completion of 3 months probation period.
  • Band: H - nm.
  • Designation of Duty Station: Mykolaiv.

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for employees on national contracts.
