You have:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, procurement, transport and distribution, warehousing, and stock management.
- Good understanding of procurement rules and regulations.
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency is mandatory.
- Fluency in local language.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, communicability.
- Excellent skill in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience within an international NGO is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the Kherson Local Civil Society is an advantage.

Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a leading protection agency with a mandate to protect, advocate and promote durable solutions for displacement affected populations.
DRC has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, currently DRC employs over 650 staff in Ukraine and will continue significant scale-up in 2024 to implement emergency response in the Protection, Livelihoods, Shelter/NFIs and Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding (humanitarian mine action) sectors, using direct interventions, support to duty bearers and civil society organizations (CSOs), and partnerships with CSOs. DRC will continue and adapt its durable solutions portfolio to the evolving context.
Overall purpose of the role:
The Supply Chain Officer is responsible for all procurement of goods and services, warehousing, transportation of good and people, vehicle fleet management, and general logistics support to DRC activities for Mykolaiv base. The role contributes to maintaining efficient operations and providing essential support to DRC activities in Kherson region. S/he is able to make independent decisions and actions in his/her field of activity, helping to fulfill the basic requirements of the organization and development of the response team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Procurement of goods and services necessary to conduct DRC activities. Ensuring all the procurement processes are in line with DRC Operations Handbook
- Assist in recruitment, training and capacity building of the logistics team
- Vehicle fleet management
- Warehouse management, including reporting and alert mechanism to program staff
- Effective and efficient support to programs’ needs
- Develop and maintain relevant data base - Maintaining the assets list
- Weekly and monthly status reports
- Assist in recruitment, training and capacity building of the logistics team
- Track all orders, purchases and deliveries
- Ensure that all logistics specific donor rules and policies are understood and respected
- Oversight of all purchase and service contract to ensure DRC's interests are protected
- Fixed asset management
- Correctly apply ERP supply chain processes

We offer: Contract length: 3 month renewable after satisfactory probation period. Level: H non Manager Designation of Duty Station: Mykolaiv - Full time based Start date: As soon as possible.
