You have:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in humanitarian/commercial logistics, procurement, transport and distribution, warehousing, and stock management.
  • Relevant university degree in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Good understanding of the procurement rules and regulations of major international donors.
  • Excellent skill in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • English proficiency.
  • Fluency in local language.

Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is an international non-governmental organization, which promotes and supports durable solutions to the problems faced by refugees and internally displaced people all over the world.

Danish Refugee Council is currently looking for a highly qualified Supply Chain Officer for its Base office in Kyiv.

Overall purpose of the role

Responsible for all procurement of goods and services, warehousing and general logistical support of the program, following DRС procedures and instructions.

Your main duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure all the procurement processes of goods and services (from the moment of planning, receiving the request, preparation of relevant tender documentation to the final receipt of goods/services) in line with DRC Operations Handbook.
  • Ensure that all logistics specific donor rules and policies are understood and respected.
  • Effective timely and efficient support to programs’ needs.
  • Develop and maintain relevant database.
  • Maintaining the assets list.
  • Weekly and monthly status reports.
  • Warehouse management, including reporting and alert mechanism to program staff.
  • Coordination of programme staff to ensure logistics involvement in the whole programme cycle.
  • Fixed asset management.
  • Correctly apply ERP supply chain processes.

Required experience and competencies

  • Relevant university degree in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in humanitarian /commercial logistics, procurement, transport and distribution, warehousing, and stock management.
  • Good understanding of the procurement rules and regulations of major international donors Excellent skill in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in ERP programs.
  • English proficiency.
  • Fluency in local language.

We offer

Level: H - Non-manager
