You have:
- University degree in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Procurement, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field with three years of relevant professional experience; or completed High school education with five years of relevant experience.
- Certification in Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
- Experience in procurement and logistics and working with vendors and service providers.
- Experience with asset management processes.
- Experience working with IOM/UN Procurement and Logistics Rules and Procedures is an advantage.
- Fluency in English and Greek required (oral and written). Working knowledge of another UN official language is an advantage.
- Ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation related to supply chain activities.
- Ability to work with national and international institutions.
Contract
This is a G-5 contract. This kind of contract is known as General Service and related categories. It is normally only for nationals. It usually requires 5 years of experience, depending on education. More about G-5 contracts.

Context
Under the overall supervision of the Supply Chain Director and direct supervision of the Senior Supply Chain Officer, and in close collaboration with the Manila Supply Chain Unit (MSCU) and in coordination with the relevant units at Supply Chain Management (SCM) Center in Thessaloniki, the Supply Chain Associate (Logistics, Assets and Facilities) will provide routine support to supply chain activities, guided by SCM objectives to deliver quality goods/services to the beneficiaries/users at optimal price and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Education
- University degree in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Procurement, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field from an accredited academic institution with three years of relevant professional experience; or,
- Completed High school / Secondary school education with five years of relevant experience.
- Certification in Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
Experience
- Experience in procurement and logistics and working with vendors and service providers;
- Experience with asset management processes;
- Experience working with IOM/UN Procurement and Logistics Rules and Procedures is an advantage; and,
- Experience working in an international organization an advantage.
Skills
- High level of computer literacy, including ERP (Oracle) systems;
- Ability to work with national and international institutions;
- Ability to prepare clear and concise reports;

Languages
IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish.

Responsibilities
- Support the coordination with International Organization for Migration (IOM) offices and missions to organize conferences and events at the Supply Chain (SC) Center, including arranging venue, accommodation, and service requirements (e.g., audio/visual, interpretation, catering) and maintaining related documentation.
- Provide routine support for SC Center offices and facilities, including meeting room readiness, preventive and corrective maintenance, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements, and space planning; monitor needs and follow up on related actions on a regular basis.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of agreements and Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) for utilities, insurance, internet, recurring services, and supplies, including tracking renewals, maintaining records, and supporting related documentation.
- Maintain inventory of consumables, assets, furniture, and equipment at the SC Center, including tracking movements, maintaining records, and supporting timely replenishment.
- Support the coordination with external stakeholders (e.g., Helexpo, Customs, and relevant government institutions) related to SC Center operations, including routine follow-up and documentation related to applicable local procedures.
- Support asset management activities in accordance with IOM procedures, including ERP (Oracle) postings, labeling, assignment, handover, transfer, disposal, maintenance, storage, and annual physical verification.
- Support the coordination with the IOM Greece Mission to obtain administrative, procurement, logistics, and facilities support, related to SC Center operational requirements.
- Support the timely processing of invoices for utilities, services, and SC Center purchases by tracking due dates and submitting complete documentation to Finance.
- Perform other duties as assigned and provide routine support to broader Supply Chain functions as required.
