You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration is preferred.
  • Proven strong academic track record.
  • 2 years’ experience in procurement, supply chain.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Afghanistan Government Law.
  • Experience in collecting and searching data on the Internet.
  • Communication skills in local language are a must, command in English language preferred.
  • High level of computer literacy (Excel, Word).

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities****:

- Ensure each procurement process is transparently completed and sufficient procurement support document obtained to feed both procurement and finance files with the required documents and full audit trail. - Under the direct supervision of Procurement Officer, implement internal controls and establish a reasonable and appropriate lead-time for ordering and delivery of goods. - Ensure to assist the storekeeper and storage relevant activities whenever needed. - Ensure timely purchase and delivery of goods to programs / requestors. - Distribute monthly Procurement reports to the field FC and Procurement Officer. - To be able to learn and implement Budget Versus Actual (BVA) for all procurement relevant activities. - Assist Procurement officer/Staffs on the day-to-day Procurement activities and proper file keeping. - Cooperate supply chain department on day-to-day activities. - Numbering, Scanning, and filing of the procurement documents. - Preparing RFQs, RFPs other required procurement documents - Cooperate procurement staff on the collection of quotation from the market. - Preparing of the suppliers list taking from the MPAs and procurement documents. - Issuing PO, s and other related payments forms through BVA. - In compliance with supply chain rules and procedures, support the related procurement activities. - Evaluate purchase requisitions to ensure that specifications, delivery dates and all other requirements are in order. - Maintain accurate and comprehensive records on procurement activities and provide timely reports and updates both periodically and on request. - Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Education: bachelor’s degree of Business Administration is preferred.

- Proven strong academic track record. - 2 years’ experience in procurement, supply chain. - Knowledge and understanding of Afghanistan Government Law - Experience in collecting and searching data on the Internet. - Communication skills in local language are must, command in English language preferred. - High level of computer literacy (Excel, Word).
