Job Description

As of February 24th, the IRC has pivoted to an emergency response in Ukraine and now we are working in multiple locations in Ukraine providing assistance to our clients in the fields of economic recovery and development, protection and health.

Deployment Scope The Supply Chain Assistant will focus on low-value procurement and other program support activities, asset and office equipment management, and interaction with the warehouse and partners regarding the arrival and shipment of goods under the direct supervision of the Supply Chain Manager or Sr. Supply Chain Officer.

Responsibilities Procurement of materials and service: Procures materials and services under 500 USD in compliance with IRC procurement policy and procedure for petty cash procurement. Ensures quality, quantity and timely delivery of procured materials and timely completion of small contracts. Provides local materials and services price information to department. Makes the purchase of stationery for all offices of Ukraine in accordance with the MPA, the preformed order is received from the Admin office. Support management in coordination with the Finance department the payment tracker to vendors. Create and manage in coordination with the SC department the MPA tracker with vendors. Support warehouse manager for any inventory exercise.

Asset and Office equipment management: Ensures proper recording and labelling of assets. Ensures proper utilization of assets. Managing local and national offices ASSET list, support on global asset list registration Ensures proper transfer and recording of equipment and office machines/computers and others, furniture etc. from one person to the other. Perform inventory for furniture facilities

Others: Perform other tasks assigned by Sr. Supply Chain Officer/ Supply Chain manager. Cooperates with all departments and works closely with Sr. SCO in executing supply chain activities at the office level.

Key Work Relationships: She/he closely works with all program and support staff to effectively and efficiently realize the overall organizational mission.

Requirements: Advanced Degree, minimum 2 years of progressive Supply Chain professional experience or equivalent education and experience. Knowledge and experience in market analysis techniques, procurement and contracting, inventory, property and asset management Fluency in Ukraine required, English - not less than B2.
