You have:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in inventory and supply management, property management, logistics, procurement, warehousing, administrative services, or related area is required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience if possessing a first level university degree or higher.
- Demonstrated experience using Power BI for operational reporting is required.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Umoja (SAP) is desirable.
- Experience in UN Common System or international organizations is desirable.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
- Fluency equals a rating of "fluent" in all four areas (read, write, speak, understand).

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Chief Life Support Unit, the incumbent will perform the following functions: • A. Supply and Logistics Support • Assist in reviewing and consolidating requisitions for goods and services submitted to the Life Support Unit. • Coordinate with authorized Umoja users to ensure accurate entry of shopping carts and purchase requisitions. • Monitor stock levels, validate inventory data, and support regular stock-taking activities. • Organize storage areas, track item expiry dates, and support stock rotation to avoid losses. • Support field offices in identifying supply needs and facilitate delivery arrangements in coordination with the Centralized Warehouse Unit. • B. Property and Asset Support • Assist in tracking movement of assets and attractive items; support the preparation of Goods Issue documentation. • Coordinate the compilation of data for write-off requests for damaged or obsolete assets. • Liaise with authorized staff to ensure updates in Umoja are correctly reflected. • Assist in preparing and maintaining up-to-date asset and property inventory records. • C. Data Analysis and Reporting (Power BI) • Collect, clean, and organize logistics data for analysis and decision-making. • Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support monitoring of inventory, procurement activities, and demand trends. • Use Power BI to provide visual insights and support performance reviews and planning sessions. • Support the generation of data-driven recommendations for procurement, re-stocking, and operational improvements. • D. Administrative and Field Support • Maintain reliable and organized documentation and filing systems for all supply and logistics processes. • Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports, including demand planning summaries and operational updates. • Coordinate with field offices to gather logistics data and support local delivery and warehousing operations. • Facilitate communication and follow-up actions with vendors, transport units, and internal clients. • Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications/special skills
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in in inventory and supply management, property management, logistics, procurement, warehousing, administrative services, or related area is required. The minimum years of relevant experience is reduced to three (3) for candidates who possess a first level university degree or higher. Demonstrated experience using Power BI for operational reporting is required. Familiarity with ERP systems such as Umoja (SAP) is desirable. Experience in UN Common System or international organizations is desirable.
Languages
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this position, fluency in both English and Spanish is required. NOTE: Fluency equals a rating of "fluent" in all four areas (read, write, speak, understand), and "knowledge of" equals a rating of "confident" in two of the four areas.
