Certification or training in SunSystems, Financial Systems, Information Technology or Programming would all be an advantage
2-3yrs. Strong technical/IT training experience. (Cloud Host Experience)
Experience in accounting or bookkeeping knowledge.
Expertise in MS Office Applications specifically in Excel.
English is required for this role
ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification is preferred
Experience within a MicroFinance Organization is an advantage
LeanSixSigma Green Belt, or other Project Management certification

VisionFund International is seeking a highly skilled and motivated SunSystems Specialist to join our dynamic finance team in Asia region. As a SunSystems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our SunSystems financial software to ensure seamless financial operations and accounting systems reporting. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing our financial systems, supporting our finance team, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

SunSystems is a comprehensive financial solution tailored for Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) and the GC Global team. It is a fully integrated software application that includes financial and ERP management modules, designed to manage specific business functions and processes efficiently.

This role will report to the Finance Systems Manager and will be responsible for rolling out global projects, serving as the MFI resource person, and providing day-to-day business support. Additionally, the role encompasses performing significant maintenance tasks and integrating SunSystems with external applications.

Location: Anywhere in Asia, where VFI or World Vision is registered to operate.

Major responsibilities

Responsible in the implementation of SunSystems major projects and enhancements. Provide assistance to Manager on SunSystems global initiatives.
Provide expertise and support to other projects or initiatives that VFI may implement in SunSystems such as system standardization and centralization, and integration to other systems
Deliver a world class global G/L solution that is fully integrated into a comprehensive global information management system. This system to provide decision makers at all levels with the timely information required to make data driven decisions
Manage and provide business and technical support to SunSystems and its related tools. Troubleshoot reported issues/errors and provide appropriate solutions and workaround. Systematically guide users on proper system handling and functionality workaround. Support may either be through phone, chat, email or remote session.
Responsible for the development and revision of standard financial reporting templates. It includes sorting of requirements, data gathering and analysis, close coordination with stakeholders and all the way through testing, implementation and deployment.
Co-perform with Infor Cloud support and WVI SunTeam in administering and maintaining SunSystems Servers and databases in the cloud. Ensure servers and applications are operational.

Requirements include

Required

Bachelor's/University Degree in IT (i.e. Computer Engineer & Computer Science)
Certification or training in SunSystems, Financial Systems, Information Technology or Programming would all be an advantage
Experience with InforQA Report Design, InforQA DataSend Definition or User Support an advantage.
2-3yrs. Strong technical/IT training experience. (Cloud Host Experience)
Experience in accounting or bookkeeping knowledge.
Expertise in MS Office Applications specifically in Excel.
English is required for this role

Working arrangments/ language and travel

Able to travel extensively within the region and internationally, approximately 15%.
