UNFPA’s strategic plan aims for three transformative results: to end preventable maternal deaths; end unmet need for family planning; and end gender-based violence and harmful practices. In a world where fundamental human rights are at risk, we need principled and ethical staff, who will defend sexual and reproductive health and rights with full conviction. The Stakeholder Engagement Specialist will collaborate with the broader team to drive our internal communications strategy, including content and events planning and management. The candidate will also lead communications outreach and projects such as events, exhibitions, and campaigns, targeting external stakeholders. You would be a good fit for this role if you know how to drive brand engagement across internal and external audiences with creative communications and are a strategic thinker with solid project management experience.

Knowledge and Experience: • Minimum of seven years of relevant professional work experience and increasing seniority in creating content in a fast-paced non-profit or commercial environment • Proven ability to build effective internal communications and engagement campaigns, • Demonstrated experience managing communications projects, creative campaigns and platforms, such as an intranet • Hands-on experience planning and organizing high-level events in coordination with partners and liaising with vendors • Highly organized, resourceful, detail-oriented and able to juggle competing priority deadlines and work well under tight deadlines and in a team • Excellent analytical skills and proven ability to solve problems creatively and independently • Excellent command of written English and flair for writing engaging communications • Experience working in a diverse, international context

Languages: • Fluency in written and spoken English is required. Working knowledge of French, Spanish or other UN official language is an asset.
