Major Responsibilities:

  • Perform timely sponsor mails entry into HORIZON-HOPE, dispatch correspondences per Cluster and ensure they are timely sent to their respective locations on time;
  • Provide guidance and coaching to SPPOs and SBOs for high correspondences quality processing
  • Key in e-letter mails from sponsors in Horizon-HOPE and follow up with field Offices for timely response
  • Monitor compliance with Sponsorship standards on sponsor mails.
  • In collaboration with the Sponsorship Manager, track sponsor visit communications and reports to ensure compliance with sponsorship standards.
  • Lead quality review of all Child Expression Worksheets, Sponsor Letters, Introductory Letters, Electronic Letters as required by GC/NO
  • Prepare synthesized and analyzed, monthly reports on the status of sponsor-child mails
  • Prepare payment details for the costs or expenses as regard to Sponsor letter and parcels

Sponsorship Management in Emergency context:

  • · Follow up on a daily basis the performance status in correspondences management in affected APs by emergency and submit Interim report to the Sponsorship Manager
  • · Provide periodical updates on Sponsorship Correspondences to the Sponsorship Manager until end of Emergency.
  • Participate in the development of NO guidance in regard to Sponsorship correspondences management in the changed context

PROFILE: Core Capabilities:

Must have a bachelor degree in English Language and Literature or equivalent.

  • Ability to work in a very organized manner;
  • Requires excellent organizational and management skills;
  • Good planning and coordination skills;
  • Good computer skills (Ms Word, Ms Excel, Internet, etc);
  • Ability to exhibit exemplary lifestyle as per World Vision values and as interpreted in Burundi cultural context;
  • Ability to think objectively;
  • Requires good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in French, English and Kirundi;
  • Work under minimum supervision
