Overview
Ensure sponsorship excellence in Area Program and maintain transformational child-sponsor relationships.
You have:
- At least 5 years’ experience in international development work, out of which at least two years in leadership position.
- In depth understanding and experience in Child Sponsorship and its contribution to child wellbeing with minimum 2 years of national sponsorship management experience.
- Master’s degree is preferred, Bachelor degree social science, management, development or other relevant area required.
- Demonstrated community and staff facilitation skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of sponsorship policies, framework, systems and processes.
- Knowledge of various technical sectors of development particularly Program Quality and Operations.
- Knowledge of community development and engagement.
- Experience in design and facilitation of training program.
- Experience in local and national level partnering.

The Sponsorship Manager ensures sponsorship excellence in the Area Program or impact of child well-being and transformational child-sponsor relationships. To do so, the position strategically influences National Offices strategy and programming, manages effective Sponsorship operations and organizational capabilities and capacity building, maintains adherence to policies and standard requirements, manages sponsorship business processes and systems, and proactively manage/mitigate risks.

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE:
