Overview

Ensure sponsorship excellence and manage transformational child-sponsor relationships.

You have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in international development work, experience in leadership position is an advantage
  • In depth understanding and experience in Child Sponsorship and its contribution to child wellbeing
  • Strategic level understanding and experience in Development Program Approach and Sponsorship in Programming
  • Demonstrated community and staff facilitation skills
  • Experience in design and facilitation of training program
  • Master’s degree is preferred, Bachelor degree in social science, management, development or other relevant area required
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of sponsorship policies, framework, systems, and processes
  • Knowledge of various technical sectors of development particularly Program Quality and Operations
  • Knowledge of community development and engagement

The Sponsorship Manager ensures sponsorship excellence in the Area Program or impact of child well-being and transformational child-sponsor relationships. To do so, the position strategically influences National Offices strategy and programming, manages effective Sponsorship operations and organizational capabilities and capacity building, maintains adherence to policies and standard requirements, manages sponsorship business processes and systems, and proactively manage/mitigate risks.
