Overview
Supervise project activities related to cash transfers and food security projects.
You have:
- Master's degree or equivalent in agronomy, economics, international development, agricultural economics or related field required, preferably with experience in emergency projects and food security and cash transfers sectors.
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience, with proven experience in implementing food security and cash transfer activities.
- Experience in evaluation, monitoring and market analysis in emergency situations.
- Solid experience in designing and implementing evaluations related to cash transfers, participant selection processes, and monitoring.
- Good experience in facilitation and training.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and effectively communicate with team members of varying work styles.
- Proven ability to learn quickly and manage sector activities to achieve results and objectives.
- Experience working on projects funded by international donors.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with colleagues, implementation partners, donors, and local organizations.
- Significant experience in coordinating, communicating, and monitoring programs.
- Excellent planning, prioritization skills and ability to accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, etc.).
- Ability to work with a culturally diverse multiethnic team appropriately.
- Ability to write reports.
- Demonstrated capacity for communication (oral & written) in French is required, knowledge of English is an advantage.
- Ability to anticipate independently solutions to interpersonal problems with minimal supervision, in executing programs.
