You have:
- High School Certificate is required.
- Certificate in Zumba, Aqua Zumba, Salsa, Rhumba, Yoga, Spin, Taekwondo, Pilates, Aerobics, Cross-fit, Acapella, Barre, Aqua Aerobics is required.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience from a reputable organization in teaching specified fitness classes is required.
- Fluency in oral and written English is required.
- Qualifications and knowledge of fitness products and equipment is required.

Duties and Responsibilities
Background The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) is the UN headquarters in Africa and the respective office of the Secretary-General. UNON supports program implementation of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and the UN Human Settlements Program UNHABITAT) globally, as well as other UN offices in Kenya, by providing administrative, conference and information services (www.unon.org). This post is in the office of United Nations Office at Nairobi, Central Support Services (CSS), Commercial Operations Unit (COU), UN Events & Wellness Centre Under the supervision of the Unit Chief. The incumbent provides specialized support services to help ensure the smooth functioning of the UN Wellness Centre. The UN Events & Wellness Centre (UNEWC) is open for membership to UN staff members and some members of the diplomatic community. The UNEWC has over the years recognized the need to keep pace with the growing sophistication and demands of members, so it offers a Wellness facility that meets their fitness and Wellness goals. The facility has a gym, cardio & a weights section, as well as an outdoor space for fitness classes. UNEWC is seeking for instructors to provide professional Zumba / Aqua Zumba, Salsa, Rhumba, Yoga, Spin, Tae-Kwando, Pilates, Aerobics, Cross-fit, Acapu Ela, Barre, Aqua Aerobics, Tai Chi fitness classes and program design to UNEWC members and guests. The incumbent works towards creating excellence in the fitness center reporting directly to UNEWC Manager. • Assist in developing outreach initiatives, marketing materials, schedules, and Wellness content that engage and inspire clients. • The instructors will be teaching special classes like Zumba / Aqua Zumba, Salsa, Rhumba, Yoga, Spin, Taekwondo, Pilates, Aerobics, Cross-fit, Acapella, Barre, Aqua Aerobics. • The instructor works towards creating excellence in the Fitness Centre reporting directly to UNRC Manager. • Responsible for preparing exercise classes and ensuring the studio/Aerobics room, are clean, getting it ready suitable for client use. • Promoting fitness classes to both members and non-members for purposes of increasing or sustaining membership. • Have a client database or profile in his record for purposes of reference. • Advice clients on health and fitness related matters. • Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications/special skills
High School Certificate is required. Certificate in Zumba / Aqua Zumba, Salsa, Rhumba, Yoga, Spin, Taekwondo, Pilates, Aerobics, Cross-fit, Acapella, Barre, Aqua Aerobics. A minimum of 2 years' experience from a reputable organization/setting is required in teaching Zumba / Aqua Zumba, Salsa, Rhumba, Yoga, Spin, Taekwondo, Pilates, Aerobics, Cross-fit, Acapella, Barre, Aqua Aerobics. Qualifications and knowledge of fitness and products and equipment is required.
Languages
