The United Nations Volunteers programme is the UN organization that promotes volunteerism to support peace and development worldwide by advocating for volunteerism, encouraging partners to integrate volunteerism into development programming, and mobilizing volunteers. The UNV Regional Office for Europe and CIS provides oversight and strategic guidance to the UNV Field Units in the region and is accountable for the placement of UN Volunteers. UNV’s services and solutions implemented by volunteers of the UNV Regional Office for Europe and CIS are covered on unv.org website and social media. To increase awareness of these initiatives among key audiences and to enhance effective business cooperation with the UNV partners both in countries with the UNV field presence and countries with no UNV field presence in the region is a priority, and basic analysis of the audiences and audience engagement on relevant social media accounts is one step for further success in increasing visibility.
