Details

The tasks for this Online Volunteer assignment will be to generate original social media related content. S/he will assist the social media unit in producing and editing vertical videos for social media with a specific focus on IOM’s corporate Tik Tok account (1.5 million followers) and Instagram Reels (180,000 followers). We expect the Online Volunteer to produce 1 to 2 contents per week. The Online Volunteer will also support the social media unit as a focal point to curate the 2020’s International Volunteer Day campaign.

The social media unit is looking for a young creative person to join the team and help create content for IOM’s corporate TikTok platform, one of the fastest growing social media platform globally. The Online Volunteer will have to be creative and comfortable in developing short videos about IOM activities that can be consumed by Gen Z and Y. The videos will be used to raise awareness about IOM’s strategic objectives, increase our brand visibility on the platform and fight xenophobia, racism and stigma against migrants.

6-10 hours per week / 16 weeks
