UNFPA Iraq is seeking two dedicated Online Volunteers to support our Communication and Partnerships team in enhancing our social media presence and assisting events. As an Online Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in amplifying our messages, engaging our audience, and ensuring the successful execution of events. By contributing to UNFPA Iraq as Online Volunteers in the areas of social media and event management, you will actively contribute to our three transformative results and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

UNFPA is looking for two online volunteers who, under the guidance of the Communications and Partnerships Officer, will support the Fund by producing content for UNFPA’s social media accounts and assisting in events. In particular, the/each Online Volunteer is asked to: 1. Social Media Management: - Curate and create engaging content for UNFPA Iraq's social media platforms. - Implement and manage social media campaigns to promote UNFPA's initiatives. - Monitor social media trends and suggest strategies for increased visibility.

2. Event Management:
   • Assist in the planning and coordination of events.
   • Manage social media content during events.

Duration: 12 weeks, ten hours per week Number of assignments: two
Assignment region/country: Iraq

1. Social Media Expertise:

   • Proven experience in managing social media accounts for organisations.
   • Familiarity with social media analytics tools.
   • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

2. Event Management Skills:

   • Experience in planning and coordinating events.

3. Creativity and Innovation:

   • Demonstrated ability to create compelling and shareable content.
   • Innovative approach to social media strategies and event concepts.

4. Language: English and Arabic, Kurdish is a plus.
