You have:
- Demonstrated experience in graphic design, visual communications, multimedia production, video editing, or related fields.
- Proficiency in creating digital content for social media, including short-form videos, social media graphics, infographics, and visual storytelling products.
- Experience using design and video editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality outputs aligned with branding and technical requirements.
- Ability to translate complex information, reports, and key messages into clear and engaging visual content.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines in a remote working environment.
- Strong visual storytelling, creativity, and communication skills is highly desired.
- Familiarity with video subtitling, motion graphics, AI-assisted creative tools, or digital content optimization is an asset.

UN Women’s communications and advocacy efforts support global and national campaigns to advance gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls. Through social media, digital storytelling, visual content, and public awareness initiatives, UN Women engages diverse audiences and promotes key messages on women’s rights, leadership, economic empowerment, and the elimination of violence against women and girls.
To strengthen our digital outreach, UN Women Kazakhstan is seeking three Online Volunteers with skills in graphic design and video editing. The volunteer will support the development of creative content for social media campaigns, international observances, advocacy initiatives, and communication products aimed at increasing public awareness and engagement.
The volunteer will contribute to the creation of social media visuals, infographics, short videos, and other digital materials that help communicate UN Women’s work and impact in Kazakhstan.
UN Women Kazakhstan is seeking support from Online Volunteers to strengthen its communications and advocacy efforts through the creation of engaging digital content that promotes gender equality and women's empowerment.
Under the guidance of the Communications Focal Point, the Online Volunteer(s) will:
- Edit 6-10 short videos and reels for social media campaigns and awareness initiatives;
- Design 8-12 social media cards, carousel posts, and other visual content for UN international days, events, and advocacy campaigns;
- Create 2-4 infographics and data visualizations based on reports, statistics, and key messages;
- Transform existing communication materials, such as reports, press releases, event summaries, and campaign content, into engaging digital formats suitable for social media and online audiences;
- Ensure all products align with UN Women branding and communication guidelines.
- Selected Online Volunteers may be asked to join a virtual orientation call with the UN Women Communications team.
Depending on the selected profile, volunteers may focus on video editing, graphic design, or infographic development.
One Online Volunteers will support with video and reels, while two Online Volunteer will support with graphic design, infographics, and visual communication materials. All draft resources will be provided, and all materials will remain the intellectual property of UNWomen.
