Overview

You have:

  • Experience in graphic design is required.
  • Knowledge of online marketing tools and channels is essential.
  • Experience in social media management is necessary.
  • Experience designing outreach/marketing tools is beneficial.
  • A degree in marketing, management, communications, or related fields is an asset but not required.

We are looking for a dedicated and creative volunteer to support our organization’s communications team by creating content for our organization's social media to increase the visibility and profile of UN-Habitat Bahrain. The online volunteer will use our publications and other resources to create and curate interesting content for our social media channels.

  • Reading and analyzing internal resources (research and policy papers, toolkits, etc.) and curating relevant content;
  • Outreach and advocacy to support content creation for social media.
  • Developing and implementing measurable social media content and activity: and creating digital adverts.
    • Provide consistency in the look and feel of communications and advocacy products across all stages of production.
  • Develop effective and engaging designs to attract more audiences to UN-Habitat Bahrain’s social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, etc.) The volunteer will receive storyboards, brand guidelines, and full guidance and support from UN-Habitat Bahrain. -Number of deliverables; 3-4 social media posts a week.

Candidates should have previous experience in graphic design, good knowledge of online marketing tools and channels, social media, and experience designing outreach/marketing tools. A degree in marketing, marketing management, communications, or related fields is considered an asset but not necessary. Please submit a short Portfolio of previous work.
