How can you make a difference?

Summary of key functions/accountabilities:

1. Support internal coordination (UNICEF) for emergency preparedness and response 2. Support to strategy design and development of SBC activities for emergency response 3. Support to implementation of SBC activities for emergency response 4. Support to strategy design and implementation of AAP mechanisms 5. Coordination, advocacy, networking and partnership building 6. Innovation, reporting knowledge management and capacity building.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

Education: A university degree in one of the following fields is required: social and behavioral science, sociology, anthropology, psychology, education, communication, public relations or another relevant technical field.

Experience:

A minimum of two years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required: social development programme planning, communication for development, public advocacy or another related area.

Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.

Language Requirements:

Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.
