We are looking for Online Volunteers to analyze and research the AgriTech Market especially for Smart Irrigation in English. This will help us understand more about the challenges and opportunities of Smart Farms with IoT technology, AI, Big Data, etc. Through the research, we aim to: understand the trend of the smart irrigation market worldwide and the competitors in Cambodia and other countries; analyze the market challenges and opportunities of Smart Farm Management in general with a focus on technology and problem addressing.

Smart Farm Assistance is part of the UNDP Youth Co:Lab Springboard Programme. It is an AgriTech social enterprise that offers watering system service which can save water resources and energy. Our digital devices can control the watering system through App and SMS with our own platform and IoT system. Smart Farm Assistance hopes to enable low income and other farmer producers to increase agricultural production and quality, reduce costly inputs, conserved and maintain usage of the annually finite water resources for a prolonged period, and possibly increasing opportunities for crop diversification by reducing the risk of running out of water.
Volunteers: 1 needed
1-5 hours per week / 4 weeks
The Online Volunteer needs to be fluent in English. Experience in qualitative data analysis and ability to synthesize large quantities of information into easy to understand findings are preferential. Familiarity and expertise with AgriTech in emerging markets are considered an asset.
