Duties and Responsibilities This job opening is for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) has been helping make the world safer from drugs, organized crime, corruption and terrorism. The overall objective is to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery of office spaces at Beirut seaport for Lebanese Customs under the UNODC Container Control Programme (CCP).

The assignment will include, but are not limited to, the following activities: - Review and adapt existing design and Bill of Quantities - Visiting location site at Beirut port, conducting construction assessment and measurements to carry on the supervision of refurbishment work. - Support evaluation of technical bids - Working with appointed contractor to ensure dedicated space is well built for long term use. - Supervising implementation of installation work at the port until delivery of all prefabricated office spaces. - Issuing final report indicating the completeness of the construction in compliance with all architectural, mechanical and electrical specifications.

Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: University degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture. Experience: - 10 years' experience in civil engineering or architecture. - Previous experience in refurbishment of spaces. Language: Knowledge of Arabic and English
