You have:
- Experience in construction and monitoring of shelter projects
- Technical skills in design and preparation of bills of quantities
- Ability to provide technical advice during project implementation
- Knowledge of working with IDPs, returnees, and refugees
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field

Purpose of the Job:
The purpose of the Shelter Technical Assistant position is to liaise and work closely with Shelter department in implementing the Shelter projects including emergency projects and normal projects. The Technical assistant vary from the assistant position by providing a range of support within their area of expertise e.g. design and preparing bill of quantity for the shelters projects, monitoring and technical advice on shelter and latrine construction for mostly IDPs, returnees and refugees in the urban, pre-urban and rural areas.
