Overview

Lead and manage shelter projects for internally displaced persons in Myanmar.

You have:

  • Senior-level project management and implementation experience.
  • Experience in Shelter, cash-for-work, multi-purpose cash and emergency response.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • People management experience.
  • Track record of strategic partnerships.

Contract

NRC is looking for a resilient and adaptive executive, with excellent people leadership and budget management skills to join the team in Myanmar as the Shelter Project Manager (National Position). If you are someone who has a passion for being in the forefront of emergency response for internally displaced persons in a challenging context, then this is the role for you! **This position is open to Myanmarese / Burmese Nationals only**

What You Will Do

  • Shelter, Multi-Purpose Cash, and other Emergency programming development and implementation (activities, budget and project documentation).
  • C****ontextual analysis and needs assessments.
  • Project budget development and management.
  • People management (recruiting, managing, and capacity building).
  • Stakeholder management.

What You Will Bring

  • Senior-level project management and implementation experience.
  • Shelter, cash-for-work, multi-purpose cash and emergency response involvement.
  • Strategic partnerships track record.
  • People management experience.
  • English fluency, both written and verbal.
