Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is an international non-governmental organization, which promotes and supports durable solutions to the problems faced by refugees and internally displaced people all over the world.

DRC is seeking a dynamic professional to serve as Shelter/Non-Food Items Assistant in DRC Ukraine.

Under the supervision of the Emergency Programme Manager will provide support to emergency shelters and collective centers, light rehabilitations, NFI and WaSH distributions

Your main duties and responsibilities will be:

Administrative and technical support

• Carry out basic tasks within shelter/NFI area (e.g. data collection)

• Carry out administrative tasks

• Follow given work plans and guidelines

Programming & Operations

• Support efficient and effective program implementation

• Participate carrying out monitoring and evaluation exercises

• Support preparation of Bills of Quantities (BoQs) for shelter and NFI activities

Logistics/Finance

• Support distribution efforts of NFI items

About you

To be successful in this role we expect you to have 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in humanitarian sphere. Field experience will be an asset.

Moreover, we also expect the following:

  • Experience in administrative tasks
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Experience with following standard procedures and guidelines
  • Fluency in local language
  • Emglish will be an asset.
  • Diploma or equivalent professional qualification

We offer

Contract length: 3 months with possibility of extension

Level: I non-managerial

Duty station: Lviv

Start date: ASAP

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National Staff.
