Support development of SharePoint templates and improved data management
You have:
- Fluency in English is required.
- Fluency in Turkish is an asset.
- Knowledge of SharePoint site configuration.
- User-centric approach to design and applying user research data.
- Understanding of visual design principles and usability best practices.
- Previous experience with the UN or its agencies is an asset.
Contract
This is a UNV contract. More about UNV contracts.
Volunteers will provide reusable templates and update outdated data management systems on SharePoint for the organization and the hub.
With this task, we are supporting correct and simple data management and reusable templates will ensure tackling misinformation and simplified support for UNDP staff.
At the end of the assignment, Volunteers will receive a certificate for completion of the duty from UNV.
- Customize SharePoint solutions utilizing approved web technologies
- Create simple workflow processes and simple site customization
- Work with business users and managers to document and analyze workflows that will be automated in SharePoint
- Create solutions from scratch and enhance existing solutions
- Communicate at an appropriate level and translate user requirements into appropriate technical solutions
- Build new landing page, department templates/pages, newsletter, banner and videos accessible to any device.
Deliverables
- Migration of 5 different SharePoint 2013 lists into SharePoint Online lists
- Generating SharePoint Online templates for recurring usage
- Enhancing old workflows and integrate them into more units in Istanbul Regional Hub
Knowledge of SharePoint site configuration.
Understanding of visual design principles, usability principles and best practices
User-centric approach to design and an understanding of how to apply user research data.
Good knowledge around UI/UX.
Knowledge of building and/or maintaining collaboration sites and/or programs.
Previous experience with the UN or its agencies is an asset.
Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Turkish is an asset.
