Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship
The position of a Senior Regional Cooperation Specialist is assigned to the Regional Cooperation and Integration (CWRC) within the Central and West Asia Department (CWRD). You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines upon hiring but might be outposted to one of the ADB's Resident Missions based on the business need. The incumbent will report to Regional Head, CWRC and will supervise junior team members.
Your Role
As a Senior Regional Cooperation Specialist, you will lead the implementation of the CAREC 2030 Strategy, including through provision of policy support related to regional cooperation and integration (RCI) in CAREC countries; identification and implementation of ADB initiatives and technical assistances (TAs) for the CAREC Program; implementation of sector and thematic CAREC strategies; and management of the CAREC Secretariat. The Senior Regional Cooperation Specialist will work closely with CAREC/CWRD developing member countries (DMCs), key development partners and other stakeholders, as well as with relevant sectors and thematic groups within ADB.
